The thermal circuit
Warm, hot, cold, still. Go round as often as you like.
Every pass includes the full circuit. Start in the pool, sweat in the steam room, take the cold plunge for as long as you can bear it, then lie down until you feel like going again.
Thermal pool
Mineral water held at body warmth. Float, sit on the submerged bench, or cross the stepping stones.

Steam room
Eucalyptus steam in a tiled room for eight. Sit high for heat, low for air.
10–15 minutes
Cold plunge
Spring-fed and deliberately cold. Go in to the shoulders and breathe out slowly.
30 seconds to 2 minutes
Rest room
Heated loungers, wool blankets and a pot of tea. Phones stay in the lockers.

Deep tissue massage
Slow, firm pressure for tight shoulders, back and legs. Tell us where it hurts and we’ll stay there.

Warm basalt stones, oiled and worked along the back and legs to loosen muscles before the hands go deeper.

Side-lying, with extra cushions, from the second trimester. Gentle on the lower back, hips and swollen feet.

Sea salt and almond oil scrub, a warm rinse, then twenty minutes wrapped in heated linen.

An evening float in the thermal pool, with a neck pillow and a therapist guiding you through slow stretches.
